​Rules must be read by all young people and parents/carers/guardians

Due to an increase in antisocial behaviour that has impacted both young people and staff of the club, The Basement Youth Club will be implementing an improved way of registering upon arrival. this will include young people confirming they have read the terms and conditions of the club, understand the rules and what is expected of them. Parental consent will be required and this will be done by the Lead youth worker called the emergency contact number provided by the young person.

Any young person found breaking the rules will receive a verbal warning which will be logged in the BYC evening book. If the behaviours continue, a written letter/phone call will be made to the young persons parent/carer by the lead youth worker informing of the situation and outcome.

We want to welcome all young people to the club, and create a safe space for young people to meet their friends, take part in activities and have fun. Any young person who impacts the safe and kind running of the club will be asked leave and parents/carers/guardians will be informed.
